　1883年にドイツ帝国からシカゴに移住し、1885年創業した。1970年までには、B.B. Walker（1952～2002）の子会社になった。タンナー部門をいつ止めたかは不明だが、1988年の廃水に関する報告書には名前が載っている。という感じの詳細不明のタンナー。

　George E. Huch, president of the Huch Leather Company, owners of an extensive tannery bringing them into close connection with the leather trade of the middle west, has always been engaged in this line of business and has made for himself a creditable position as a successful and reliable business man. He was born December 3, 1864, in Northeim, Germany, a son of Louis and Louise (Pollman) Huch, both of whom were natives of Hanover, Germany, the former born in 1831 and the latter in 1841. It was in the year 1883 that Louis Huch came to Chicago and later founded the business which is now conducted under the name of the Huch Leather Company. ・・・
